2. Eligibility (18+ Single Adults Only)

To create an account on Naam Dating, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are legally single (unmarried, divorced, or widowed) and seeking authentic personal connections for yourself—not acting on behalf of a son, daughter, relative, or matrimonial agency.
• You have not been convicted of a felony, violent crime, sexual offense, or cyberstalking offense in any jurisdiction.

3. Zero-Storage Architecture & User Responsibility

• Your Device, Your Data: Because Naam operates on a zero-storage architecture and does not store your private chats or personal photos on central servers, you are solely responsible for managing your local device backups and security. If you delete the app or lose your device, Naam cannot recover your chat history or media.
• Limitation on External Capture: While Naam deploys native OS-level anti-screenshot and screen-recording blocks, no software can physically prevent a malicious person from using an external camera or secondary phone to photograph their screen. You acknowledge this inherent risk when sharing personal information with matches.

4. Community Rules & Zero-Tolerance Policy (App Store Compliance)

Naam maintains a strict Zero-Tolerance Policy for abusive behavior and objectionable content. You strictly agree NOT to:

• Create an account on behalf of a family member, relative, or third party (parent-managed or broker profiles are permanently banned).
• Attempt to screenshot, photograph, record, or distribute any user's profile, photos, voice notes, or private conversations outside the app (including on WhatsApp, Telegram, Reddit, or Instagram).
• Upload non-consensual intimate imagery, AI-generated deepfakes, sexually explicit material, hate speech, casteist/communal slurs, or defamatory content.
• Harass, stalk, dox, extort, or solicit money, crypto, or financial transfers from any member.
• Impersonate another individual or attempt to bypass live selfie verification.

5. Reporting, Blocking & Immediate Termination

• Contact Blocking & In-App Blocking: Users can pre-emptively block phone contacts so they never appear in their feed, or block/report any active profile at any time directly from the profile or chat screen.
• 24-Hour Moderation Enforcement: We review abuse reports within 24 hours and reserve the absolute right to permanently ban any user device or phone number that violates these Terms without prior notice or refund.

6. No Background Checks; Offline Safety Disclaimer

While Naam enforces live selfie verification to prevent bots and catfishing, Naam does not conduct criminal background checks or marital-status registry checks on its users. You are solely responsible for your personal safety when interacting with matches online or meeting in person. Always meet in public places and inform a trusted friend or family member of your plans.

7. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases & Refunds

Naam Dating is free to download. If you purchase optional premium features via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, all billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed directly through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings in accordance with their respective store policies.

8. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Naam Dating and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, emotional, or consequential damages arising out of your interactions with other users on or off the platform. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
